My Time To Craft Challenge

Hello my dear lovely crafty friends, Welcome back to my blog. 

A very warm good evening to you all. How are you all?? How is Covid effect at your place?? 


Welcome back to another new challenge at My Time To Craft Challenge Blog. This fortnight our theme for the challenge is Glitter and Sparkle. 


I have created an art journal using some decoupage cutout.



● I gave a coat of clear gesso on my art journal page. 

● To add colours to the background, I used 2 shades of Chroma Burst, I first sprinkle the both the pigment powder on page and with the help of water and brush, I blended the colours. After drying, you have to see the shimmer effect of it. Photo doesn't do justice it.

● Now I adhere the decoupage cutout using Matt decoupage glue. 

● I want to add more glitter on my page so I added texture on it using dots stencil and Moonstone glimmer paste and let it to air dry.

● I took idea-ology Chitchat stickers and adhere it on my page to finish it off.

●Ranger Flat Brush no.1/2. 
●Art Journal - Brought from local shop. 
●Gesso Clear - Prima Art Basics.
●Hydrangea Floral Decoupage Paper - iCraft.
●Memory Dots Stencil - Mudra Craft Stamps. 
●Moonstone Glimmer Paste - Nuvo.
●Chitchat #TH92998 -Tim Holtz Idea-ology. 
●PIGMA MICRON 05 Archival Ink Pen.
●Deco Magic Decoupage Matt Glue - Little Birdie Crafts.

    Oh what a gorgeous page Meena - loving the sparkle and the fabulous colour you have achieved
    We are not much affected by Covid here - thankfully. We have been over two months with no community transmitted cases - all cases are ones caught at the border, often while the people are in isolation. They are then quarantined until they are not contagious.

    I never really paid any attention to yellow before, but then one year we had a yellow challenge and I learned to really love it. It makes me think of sunshine and warm days. The kind of days a little sparkle and glitter work perfect for. It jumped right off the page. This is lovely Meena. Thank you once again. Happy end of January. Hugs-Erika
