These days I have gone crazy towards Art Journal and in coming days you will see lot of Art Journals on my blog with details of how I made them and what all I have used to create them.

To create this background, I have used 2 different shades of blue chalk paints and blended it using little water and brush. Next I took Transfer Me cut out and transfer them on my background and sealed it with matt varnish. To give more volume on pages, I took snowflake stencil and memento dew drops ink & started to add texture using blending foam, next I took a scroll stamp and memento dew drops ink, I stamped on my journal pages. Here I have used only shades of blue to create my art journal.

Hope you like it. Please do leave your feedback so that I can improve myself more.

My Time To Craft Challenge

Hello my dear lovely crafty family. Welcome back to my blog.

A very warm good afternoon to you all. Hope you all are doing good. How is the weather at your place??? Here at my place it's too cold and from 3-4 days its even raining. This cold weather has made me very crazy.

Today I'm sharing another art journal spread with you all which I made as my Design Team project for My Time To Craft Challenge blog and this fortnight our theme is Monochromatic Christmas.

Here is my journal pages

I have used Dylusion small art journal book to create it. First I coloured the background with Distress oxide ink using blending foam, I didn't try to blend it very neatly because I wanted little texture with that so. Wanted more texture on it so took Craftangles Snowflake stencil and Linday's Stamp Gang Sidewalk Chalk spray  and started to spray on journal pages. Gave few splashes using same spray. Now I apply Prima clear gesso on it. I did a reverse job here because I wanted to Transfer Me sheet so. Next I took Dress My Craft Christmas theme Transfer me sheet and I fussy cut few design from it. Now the fun part begins, now I placed the image on the page so that my image goes down and the backing white paper comes upwards. Now take a sponge and wet it and remove extra water, now start dabbing the wet sponge on the image white backing, once it get wet, you will start seeing the image that means the white backing paper is ready to slide. Now start sliding the white backing paper slowly to reveal the image. Let it dry for 5 minutes. Once it dry seal it with any  sealer or varnish. Here I have used little birdie crafts matte varnish to seal it. Now I took Craftangles script stamp set and  Dark green Memento Dew drops ink and stamped it randomly on the pages. Again I took Craftangles Snowflake stencil and Distress oxide ink and did stencilling on the journal pages. I was happy with the outcome so I stopped there only.
I hope you like it and please do leave your feedback so that I can improve myself more.

I have created another art journal using the digi by our sponsor. When I first saw this digi, only art journal came into my mind.

First I took print of digi on watercolour paper and watercolour it. To give it a shiny look, I used Prima Metallic watercolour, next fussy cut it. Now I coloured my background using iCraft chalk paints, to add more texture I did stencilling using Craftangles stencil and Distress oxide. Next I took My Favourite Thing tiny dot stencil and Hero Arts White pigment ink and add it on my background to give more texture, when the ink was still wet, I sprinkled Ranger Clear embossing powder and heat set it. To give a snow effect on ground, I took a music note paper from Kaisercraft Christmas paper pack and adhere it on journal background. I created few whimsical trees using few scrap papers from same paper pack and distressed the edges using Distress Oxide Vintage Photo. Now I started to adhere my Snowman and Whimsical trees on snow effect ground. Finally I took white gesso on a dry brush and started tap on the journal page to give more snow effect. At last I add Merry Christmas die cut on top of the left page.

Hope you like it and please do leave me feedback so that I can improve myself.

Coffee Table

Hello my lovely crafty friends, Welcome back to my blog.

A very warm good morning to you all. Hope you all are fine and staying safe.

Today's work is one of my favourite work, i loved it very much while doing. Its a cute coffee table and its only 12'' height and 12'' in circle.

  • First apply a base colour on the table top and let it to dry, here I have used chalk paint.
  • Next use re-positional tape on 1/3 of the table and apply crackle gel. Let it air dry. Remove re-positional tape.
  • Now 2-3 colours of chalk paints and start colouring whole table top and black chalk paint on legs of table, let it air dry.
  • Note- while working on crackle gel area, don't colour again coz if you do like that then you can't see cracked effect.
  • Now again use re-positional tape in stripes leaving equal gap between each tape.
  • Next apply gliding glue in between the space of taped area and dry it using hair dryer. Here I have used iCraft gliding glue which is very skicky and awesome.
  • Now I took silver foil and applied on glued area and remove extra using gliding brush.
  • On other side I did decoupage using fussy cut butterflies motif using Thai decoupage glue.
  • Next I took 2 types of stencils, black chalk paint and started doing stenciling in middle and on foiled side. Let it air dry.
  • Once it dry, I gave a coat of thai varnish and let it dry.
  • Now took glossy accent and applied it on butterflies to give a dimension.

Hope you like it, please do leave feedback so that I can improve myself.
