Hello Friends, Its Monday again. Today I'm sharing a post which is everlasting moment of my life. People know that I'm disable but only few people know that once I used to walk. But when I tell them they wouldn't believe me. So I thought now I should hang my standing photo in my living room. So I made this mixed media on a canvas.
Old Memories Of My Life
First I used distress ink on the edge of paper and lined it on 10*12 canvas. At top i torn the paper and lined a another small page underneath.
Texture
Next i applied modelling paste to give texture and used distress ink on it after it dry. Using Stazon ink i did few random stamping on it and did few stenciling also to give more layering.
Crackle Paint
I wanted crackle effect on it so i painted whole canvas with Distress crackle paint clear rock candy. It gave a awesome effect on the work when it dried.
Flowers And Window
I took new paper collection from Papericious which was released last month. I took a floral and denim page for my layout. I dun wanted to layer on that floral part so i took a MDF window cutout and pasted on it so that i can see that and added few mulberry flowers on window corner.
In Papericious new collection they have sentiment die cut also so i used them only here.
Die cuts and Glitter
I added tiny glitter ball in the middle of the torn part with glossy accent. I got there new die cuts free with the pack so i used flowers with bird cage die cut beside the torn part and added metal corner for all the 4 corner.
For layering i used dollies and added a bronze fan embellishment on it.
I even added a single handmade flower and dotted few bronze liquid pearl and glossy accent. I used lot of blues and purples in this work so that it can match my photo.
That's Me
Few people were messaging me that being bedridden how do i work, so this is the way i work lying in my bed. Sorry friends if i made you bore this time. Hope you guys like my work.
