Spread Your Wings & Fly Away

Door Hanger

Hello Friends, Happy Weekend, this time again I made a home decor project. Hope you guys dun get bore from my projects. . I am always looking for ways to brighten my home with handmade items.

Door Hanger

To create this project again I took my favorite paper from Papericious. I wanted wooden effect on background so I used wood grain paper and did so texture work using MFT stencils. Then I took some blue lace and made a flower. I colored the MDF cut out using INKA GOLD and water colored the butterflies.

Took printout of the sentiment and distressed the edges with stromy sky ink. As International Women's Day is coming next week so I  thought to added that sentiment. Spread your wings and fly away towards your dreams, goal and make your own identity.

Door Hanger

As I dun have much supplies to create the items so I handmade pins with some jewellery items and added it under the lace flower.

Inside the frame it was looking empty  so I added My Golden Garden embellishment from Paperricious.
I  got  inspired by Dr Sonia's mixed media.

Stencil - Background Heart and Star Celebrations from MFT,
Color - stromy sky and frayed barlap Distress ink from Tim Holtz Ranger.
                                 Akashiya Sai watercolor brush pen.

  2. This is a lovely piece of home decor! In fact, I'm sure it's the most stylish door hanger I've ever seen! I think the layers and pieces of ephemera you've combined are so eclectic and they look wonderful together. I bet your house is filled with beautiful things you've created and I'm so glad you shared this one with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
