My Time To Craft Challenge - Autumnal Colours

Hello my dear lovely crafty friends, Welcome back to my blog.

A very warm good morning to you all. Hope you all are fine and staying safe.

Today I'm back with an altered work which I made as my Design Team project for My Time To Craft challenge blog and this fortnight our theme is AUTUMNAL COLOURS.

Here is my take on the theme,

I have used an old clipboard to create this as a wall hanging.

First I used 3 shades of iCraft chalk paints to cover my clipboard, next added few textures at few places using iCraft chalk paint, metallic paint and 3 stencils from iCraft and let it to dry. Next I took a window wooden embellishment and coloured it with the same colours which I used for the clipboard and adhered my photo, gave a gold glitter cardstock as a border to the photo. Now decoupage time, I adhered few different decoupage papers from iCraft using decoupage glue and made sure that no air bubbles in it, after it dry, I gave a good coat of decoupage varnish on whole clipboard. Next I adhered the wooden window on one side and added Little Birdie Crafts handmade flowers and finished off it with few clear drops.

Hope you all like it and please do leave feedback so that I can improve myself.

And for this challenge we have 2 lovely sponsor

I have created my art journal using digi by Di's Digi Stamps. First I print the digi on watercolour paper and coloured it with Gansai Tambi watercolours, next fussy cut it. Took a pattern paper from Tim Holtz collection, distressed the edges with Vintage Distress ink and distress the edges with Prima distress tool. Next I adhered the paper on a 8'' by 8'' scrapbook from Little Birdie Crafts and glued my fussy cut digi on it and added few washi tapes at bottom to finish it off.

Tribal Tribes

Hello  my lovely crafty friends, Welcome back to my blog.

A very warm good morning to you all, hope everyone is doing fine and staying safe.

Today I'm sharing an art journal spread and I enjoyed very much while doing it. I created it using Tribal theme.

Here I have used my brand new Dylusion Small art journal. First I coloured my background using Distress Carved Pumpkin and Mustard seed inks and to apply the colours on my background I used Tim Holtz blending brushes, which gives very smooth finish. Next sparkled few water on it to give little texture, next I stamped at few place using Craftangles script stamp and Walnut Stain Distress oxide ink. When i comes to create background I can't stop so I took a tribal stencil from iCraft and carved pumpkin ink and started to add it on my journal. I wanted something back on my focal image so I took another iCraft mandala stencil and started doing ink blending using walnut stain oxide. Now I started gluing my tribal images on that. Finally I added my quote on it and highlighted over images and on my quote. Gave walnut stain oxide on the border to enhance it.

Here are few close up pictures of it,

Hope you like it and please do leave me feedback so that I can improve myself.

Happy Crafting and stay safe.
